
Advani will be the PM, says Rajnath
Friday, May 15,2009:New Delhi, May 15: The Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will form the government after Saturday's vote count and L.K. Advani will be the next prime minister, BJP president Rajnath Singh said Friday.
"I am confident that the BJP will emerge as the single largest party and NDA as largest alliance. Advani will become the country's prime minister," he told reporters here.
Asked about the BJP's talks with regional parties to shore up the numbers, Singh said: "I won't tell you much but many parties have given us positive indications." (IANS)
